Basak is a collaborative, humanistic counselor in training who is committed to holistic well-being. She believes in the power of evidence-based care to help us all live our most meaningful, balanced lives. With a multilingual background and a multicultural lens shaped by her travels to nearly 50 countries, Basak is committed to honoring each person’s unique cultural identity and experiences and helping them live their best authentic life.

Basak brings a rich tapestry of experience to her clinical work. Her professional journey has included leading diverse teams in healthcare organizations, developing DEI initiatives, mentoring professionals, and advocating for community mental health through her work with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Basak is pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Counseling at the California School of Professional Psychology and is an inducted member of the Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society. She also holds a Master of Business Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Virginia.
