Hello, my name is Mayte. I have recently graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and this past summer completed the International Relations Program at the University of Oxford. I plan on pursuing a law degree in fall of 2025 with a focus on family and immigration law. My experience in victim services helping domestic violence and sexual assault victims/survivors and my background as a first-generation Latina have shaped my career plans. I hope to be an advocate for my community through my work and everyday life
