Children deserve to heal from trauma. As a San Diego Non-Profit our mission is to provide low cost therapeutic services to individuals in our community who have been impacted by a traumatic event. Our goal is to provide education about the cycle of trauma, provide awareness of trauma recovery interventions, and provide a supportive environment to create a brighter future, free from abuse and victimization.

Neurofeedback Services– SDTC provides neurofeedback services which has been shown to be effective in calming the negative physiological effects from trauma exposure. Each week our PhD and PsyD directors meet with our Master’s level associate therapists/technicians to review all of our clients to ensure progression in treatment. Thus, each client has the combined knowledge of a large group of clinicians reviewing their progress, treatment, symptoms, and suggesting changes, as well as making important referrals to clients for external assessment, support, and resources to improve the client’s success. As a Neurofeedback team, every clinician is aware of every individual’s treatment and protocol, which also means that you and your family are able to schedule an appointment any day, time and with any Neuro provider that works with your schedule.

Therapy Services– As a San Diego Non-Profit, we provide child therapy, counseling for teens, adult counseling, group therapy and positive discipline parenting classes to anyone in California via telehealth or San Diego county for in person services.

We aim to create a safe and caring environment for clients to begin the healing process. We work to empower each individual to assert themselves and to be able to feel confident in who they are. We help kids to express themselves in their own unique ways and are mindful of each individual’s pace of healing and disclosure. We strive to build resilience in families and develop greater attachment bonds.

We believe that everyone should have access to mental health solutions to develop and become the best version of themselves. Our San Diego Non-Profit mission includes providing low cost counseling services to serve our community. We are serving all communities of San Diego as well as telehealth services in the state of California and are doing our best to reach our client’s goals: from healing trauma to increasing optimal and stabilized brain functioning to educating parents on attachment and positive parenting techniques.
