San Diego Therapy Center, Counseling and Neurofeedback

Diane Stumph made a career change from education to accounting and business when she received her Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Tennessee. For the following 11 years she worked for Exxon Company, USA, earning her CPA certification and holding a variety of positions including Internal Auditor, Accounting Supervisor, Capital Budget Coordinator and Financial Analyst.

After a move to San Diego, Diane joined AMN Healthcare, Inc. as the Controller, eventually moving into Sr. VP and CFO positions. During the 13 years with AMN Diane managed the accounting, payroll and finance staffs through internal growth, acquisitions and transition from sole proprietor.

The experience gained in her earlier positions prepared Diane to step into the CFO position for Father Joe’s Villages (FJV), a nonprofit dedicated to supporting those experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Through her 11 years with FJV Diane developed a strong team that consistently maintained essential controls to produce timely and accurate reporting and analysis necessary for a dynamic organization performing vital services for the San Diego community. While continuing to perform the duties of CFO, Diane also served as the president and CEO from January 2014 until February 2015 as the organization completed a nationwide search for a new president.

Diane was delighted to join the board of San Diego Therapy Center in August 2022.
