Sheridan Skolnick is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at San Diego Therapy Center. She earned her B.A. in Sociology and Law, History, and Culture from the University of Southern California, and her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University.

Sheridan works with children, adolescents, and adults (ages 5–70) and has experience supporting clients navigating a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, anger and emotional regulation difficulties, trauma, substance use concerns, and interpersonal and relational challenges. Sheridan’s therapeutic style is collaborative, person-centered, and strengths-based.

She integrates cognitive and psychodynamic perspectives, helping clients both understand longstanding patterns and actively work to shift them. Sheridan’s work is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Sheridan tailors treatment to each client’s unique needs, values, and goals, with an emphasis on fostering self-awareness, emotional resilience, and long-term growth.
