Hello, I’m Alex and I am a licensed professional clinical counselor! I love supporting individuals in reaching their goals, creating a more fulfilling life, and navigating life’s challenges. I have experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including trauma related to domestic violence, as well as those experiencing anxiety, ADHD, depression, stress, women’s issues, and major life changes or transitions.

My approach to therapy is strengths-based, collaborative, and personalized to each client. I utilize a variety of techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and exposure and response prevention (ERP). I also incorporate mindfulness and relaxation tools when helpful. I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels relaxed, supportive, and nonjudgmental, where clients can explore their goals at a pace that feels right for them.

I received my master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Alliant International University and my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego State University. When I am not practicing therapy, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, hiking with my dogs, reading, golfing, and doing Pilates.
