Amanda Hall
Practicum Student/NF Technician
Hi All! I’m Amanda Hall (she/her/hers) and I am a practicum student currently working toward my Master’s in Counseling Psychology at National University, on the path to obtaining Marriage and Family Therapy licensure. I hold a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Southern New Hampshire University, which has shaped my understanding of how both individual experiences and larger social systems influence mental health.
I am passionate about helping clients break generational cycles, work through trauma, and find solutions that align with their goals and values. My foundation is rooted in a humanistic perspective, honoring each client’s unique experiences, strengths, and personal journey. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and client-centered space where individuals feel safe to explore whatever is impacting their lives.
My approach integrates client-centered and strength-based practices with evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I value collaboration and believe therapy works best when we work together to find meaningful and practical solutions that fit each client’s personal situation and systems.
Come as you are and I look forward to working with you!
