Samantha Villegas is a Master of Social Work student at National University. She is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges while recognizing and building upon their strengths.

As a bilingual English and Spanish-speaking practitioner, Samantha is committed to providing culturally responsive and compassionate support to diverse communities. Her experience includes working in school-based mental health services, where she supports children, adolescents, and families through social-emotional learning, skill-building, and collaborative care. She has also worked with survivors of domestic violence and individuals impacted by trauma, experiences that strengthened her commitment to trauma-informed practice.

Samantha’s professional interests include trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, self-esteem, family relationships, and supporting survivors of interpersonal violence.

Samantha believes that meaningful change begins in a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered. She feels honored to walk alongside clients as they work toward healing, growth, and greater well-being.

Outside of her professional work, Samantha enjoys traveling, dancing, spending time with her children, and exploring opportunities for personal growth and self-care.
